The Go-Go's formed in 1978, and quickly became one of the cornerstones of the new wave music movement. In 1981, the band released their debut album, Beauty And The Beat. The album was a massive success, and they followed that up with another hit album, Vacation. The Go-Go's final album of the 80s was titled Talk Show. The Go-Go's released some of the most memorable songs of the decade, and they are still considered one of the greatest all-female bands of all time.
