One-Eyed Willy was the pirate captain of a ship named the Inferno. Willy's ship was filled with stolen treasure when it entered a grotto, which caved in on Willy and his crew. Many years later, the Goonies were facing foreclosure of their homes in the "Goon Docks", and they set out on an adventure to get their hands on Willy's treasure and save their homes.
